West Africa Fertilizer Recommendations (FeRWAM)

[2018]Fertilizer Recommendations for West Africa Map (FeRWAM), a publication developed by USAID West Africa Fertilizer Program (WAFP) and updated by the Feed the Future Enhancing Growth through Regional Agricultural Input Systems (EnGRAIS) Project for West Africa, 

is a regional consolidation of fertilizer recommendations with an initial baseline compilation of available data and maps for various crops grown in West Africa within Agro-ecological Zones (AEZs) across nine (9) countries.
FeRWAM targets and aims to influence key fertilizer activities and actors and to guide fertilizer manufacturers/blenders in well informed and targeted product development decision-making, helping to improve private sector participation in subsidy-related programming.
Key crops in FeRWAM include cassava, maize, rice, sorghum, millet, cocoa, cotton, coffee, peanut, cowpea and soybean.
